Greetings!

My name is Aaron.  *wave*

I turn 30 this year.  *cry*

I am happily married and have a wonderful 10 year old son. I love music, watchin' sports, cooking, reading, learning, messing with computers, and playing Warcraft.

Family - Growing up, it was Mom, Dad, my brother Shane, and me. If I can be half the parent mine are, then I'll be on the right track. My brother Shane is pretty cool, too, for an Oklahoma fan. You can see us all together in my family photo gallery.

Music -  As you can see from my photos, I've spent a lot of my life playing in bands.  Music has gotten me through much in my life, and sometimes I just like to close my eyes and let it wash everything out of me.  I play bass guitar because you can FEEL it.  And because it takes the less talent.  I dont play in bands any more, but I still can get carried away by a great song. My favorite bands are Tool, Radiohead, Deftones, They Might Be Giants, and Nine Inch Nails.

Sports - My mom is the biggest Dallas Cowboy fan in the world, so I am named after Aaron Kyle, a Cowboy's cornerback in the 70's. I am huge fan of the Cowboys, Mavericks, and Stars.

Computers -  When I was a wee lad, my Dad brought home a TI computer. It was a big clunky thing and I loved it. It came with a book that you could use to write (well, actually copy) BASIC programs.  I've been fascinated ever since.  I like computer gaming, programming, building.. pretty much everything. Yes, in other words, I'm a geeky nerd.

School -  Because I became a father at age 19, my education has been a bit delayed. I have a two year degree in Computer Information Systems, and am currently working on my bachelors at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Its kinda tough having time for family, work, school, food, and sleep.  And warcraft (no really, I can quit any time *shifts eyes*).  I'm hanging in there. I may have a four year degree by the time my son does.

Thats probably all you wanted to know, and much more.  You can probably tell a lot more about me by reading my blog (I'm gonna try and keep it updated, I promise). I love discussion and debate, even on tough issues. If you have a question about anything, just comment me on my blog at The Thinking Spot.
